Oooh

I've gained 3 new followers today :D Awesome.

So goth/punk rock is EVERYWHERE next season (see Topshop/H&M/All Saints) You'll be seeing so much leather and studs you'll not know what to do with it. So I figured I'd catch up and post some make-up in keeping with the theme.

Okay. So you're gonna struggle to wear this everyday, or pass it off as acceptable in the office, but smokey eyes are definately where you need to be in autumn. I might get round to doing a tutorial video by then, though there are some great ones out there already.

My tips, you need a pale, matt foundation (matt in autumn/winter tends to be in)
A DAMN good black eyeliner (Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on in Zero - it's worth every penny and it's waterproof for nights out in the rain.)
A good, solid black shadow, the cheaper stuff goes patchy, and in black that can look VERY messy. I have about 7 different black shadows. If you're feeling lazy cream shadows are easy. Again UD do one in black (asphalt) or one in a dark kind of colour (mushroom) but they're £10 each and I prefer a shadow to blend. Experiment with what works for you.
Get a good eye primer, creasy heavy black eye shadow is yuk. Blending is your friend.
Don't take black right to the inside corners of the eye for everyday wear, (about 2/3 in then blend it well so it fades in) otherwise you will run the risk of looking like a messy panda. (See Below) And keep it light, the eyeliner will darken it up so when your eye is open, it will look good.

Messy Panda. Fail.

Otherwise. Enjoy. It's a good excuse for heavier eye make-up without a night out.
